Shirley Chisholm was an activist, politician, author, and educator. In 1968, she was the first Black woman elected to Congress. In 1972, she became the first Black candidate for a major party's nomination for President, and the first woman to run for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.
In her memory and in power with all the amazing women shattering the ceiling, a portion of the profits from each print will be donated to She Should Run.

This is one of the very first watercolor illustrations I ever offered for sale. Part of the Produce Family Series, "Peppers" continues to be a well-loved design. It features many varieties of capsicum and their Scoville Heat Units. This unit of measure indicates the heat rating in each variety.

This print celebrates the humble vodka soda; not the most flashy drink, but definitely one of the most popular! Add a splash of cranberry to make a pink-hued Rose Kennedy.

This print reads "
If I’m an advocate for anything it’s to move....Walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food." -Anthony Bourdain
All around the quote are detailed ink drawings of different types of footwear and dishes from all over the world.
My intention for this artwork is to honor and celebrate the life of Anthony Bourdain. The chef turned author and travel show host left a lasting impact on the culinary and travel world with curiosity, and unabashed honesty. Through his writing and TV shows, he focused on the exploration of culture, cuisine, and the human condition. He taught us about the world in a way that was never clear cut or absolute, and left us often asking more questions rather than providing answers.
This educational print will help you identify the native flora of the Columbia Gorge. It features many flowers this beautiful Pacific Northwest region found in the spring and summer seasons.

Lox + Bagel is known for being a quintessential food of New York City, where it has been enjoyed since the 1920's. This was my Grandma's favorite print, a native of The Bronx! She loved lox and bagels and this one comes with all the fixins: tomato, red onion and capers, just the way she liked it.

The Italian word for eggplant, melanzana, translates to "apple of madness"; Italians once thought eggplants made you insane as they're close relatives to many toxic plants in the nightshade family.

This is one of our favorite prints, featuring a whole artichoke with half shown in cross-section. Did you know that the artichoke is actually an unbloomed flower bud in the sunflower family? They make great edible ornamentals in the garden because if you don't want to harvest the buds to eat, you can enjoy their beautiful purple flowers!

The avocado has become hugely popular in the last few decades, but we're not the first to appreciate the beautiful, delicious fruit; avocados were used as tributes from townsfolk to local royalty in Mesoamerica 7,000 years ago.
