This collection includes many of Marcella's favorite dishes, desserts, and drinks inspired by her travels in Central and South America; tamales, ceviche, empanadas, flan and many more favorites from countries including Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Puerto Rico. She has also included lots of pages about ingredients that are less common in the US including prickly pear, yuca root, and epazote. 

The book includes an overview of Latin American cheeses available in the US, and pages describing various methods of chili preparation, how to prepare cactus, and tips for frying foods. Marcella has also devoted a page to her favorite tools in the kitchen; things that will make cooking this cuisine more efficient and more fun.

From Slow Cooked Pork to Avocado Pineapple Salad, Marcella's second book, Comida Cubana, beautifully illuminates a variety of Cuban Classics. Marcella traveled to Cuba in 2016 and cooked with over a dozen people on the island, sketching and recording her travels along the way. Her experiences unfold in the headnotes of every page and the book is comprised of over 100 distinctive hand drawn recipes in watercolor and pen and ink. 

Similar to her first book, Comida Cubana is an art piece and a cookbook in one, but dives deeper into the history and origin of recipes, and includes her vibrant watercolors on every page.

This print features a hand lettered quote by Dolores Huerta, civil rights and social justice leader and cofounder of the  United Farm Workers Union.

Dolores Huerta has been working tirelessly in support of the rights of farmworkers for more than 65 years.  She founded the United Farm Workers Union in 1962, alongside Cesar Chavez.  Ms. Huerta has expanded her pursuit of justice to advocate for women’s rights, civil rights, and a more equitable society and has her own non profit to which Marcella donated the profits of her 2021 calendar. 

Marcella had the pleasure to talk with Dolores Huerta on instagram live in 2020.

The Old Fashioned is one of America's most popular cocktails. A classic said to have been invented at a private social club in Louisville, KY in 1880.
Made by combining syrup, bitters and whiskey, garnishing with an orange peel and a cocktail cherry. This drink is traditionally served over ice in a lowball glass.

This art print depicts a whole avocado with leaf and a cut in half image in the front. Considered a super fruit because of its nutritional properties, the avocado is widely associated with health. Our avocado print was one of the earlier images created from our collection.

The Enjoy Every Sandwich design is based on a quote by the late rockstar Warren Zevon, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was given one year of life to live in 2002. During a David Letterman appearance, upon being asked if Zevon had any advice for the rest of us, (now that he was aware of his own mortality), Zevon replied, "Enjoy Every Sandwich".

May we all live life to its fullest as Zevon explained so well in this famous moment in television history.

The heartBEET print is one of our most popular designs- the shape of a heart comprised of a collection of different types of beets. We made it into a beautiful enamel pin! 

This 5x7" card is blank inside and has a 1.5" brass enamel pin with gold finish attached. Each card comes with a matching envelope. Cards are printed on 120 lb matte cover stock with soy-based inks.
