This is a one page calendar print of a watercolor illustration that includes a quote by Martin Luther King Jr, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," from Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1963 Letter from a Birmingham Jail. It emphasizes that all people are connected and that injustice towards one group affects everyone. The full quote continues, "We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny," highlighting the shared responsibility to fight injustice. 

Each year, Marcella creates a calendar to raise awareness and funds for a worthy non-profit organization committed to helping humanity.

The Aviation cocktail was created in 1916 by Hugo Ensslin, the head bartender at the Hotel Wallick in New York City, and first published in his cocktail book Recipes for Mixed Drinks. The drink is a gin-based variation of the Gin Sour that's shaken and served straight up. It's known for its distinctive color and floral flavor, which come from the addition of crème de violette, a violet liqueur.

This print features a hand lettered quote by Dolores Huerta, civil rights and social justice leader and cofounder of the  United Farm Workers Union.

Dolores Huerta has been working tirelessly in support of the rights of farmworkers for more than 65 years.  She founded the United Farm Workers Union in 1962, alongside Cesar Chavez.  Ms. Huerta has expanded her pursuit of justice to advocate for women’s rights, civil rights, and a more equitable society and has her own non profit to which Marcella donated the profits of her 2021 calendar.
